Wilmington



Wilmington is a city in New Castle County, in the Philadelphia-Camden metro area, approximately 25 miles southwest of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, one of America's largest cities. It is located at the junction of the Delaware and Christina rivers. The community was named after the Earl of Wilmington. Wilmington is conveniently connected with different cities both by road and rail which has made Wilimngton into a satellite city. The average winter temperature is 33 degrees F and average summer temperature is 74 degrees F.
